Like almost everyone else on this planet, I love doughnuts! I always thought that they would be really hard to make and in a New York apartment, there was no way I was going to attempt frying doughnuts in my tiny kitchen. However, I did a little more research and found out that you can actually just bake doughnuts in a doughnut pan. It’s about as easy as making cupcakes or muffins. SOLD!
Sprinkles for Breakfast has an amazing recipe for buttermilk doughnuts and it’s a perfect base to get started if you are a beginner. Don’t forget the sprinkles to take these doughnuts to the next level. My favorite are Fancy Sprinkles or Sweetapolita, I used their Wanderlust sprinkles for this recipe.
