Valentine’s Day Decor Ideas

I get asked pretty frequently if Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday because my last name is Love… so naturally, I go ALL out when it comes to February 14th! Plus, it’s a great excuse to throw a party! This year I am hosting a Galentine’s Day event with some of my favorite girlfriends in LA.

Here are some tips and tricks for planning a Valentine’s Day themed get together that is super simple and DIY.

The Santa Monica Farmers Market is something I look forward to every week. The market takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The larger selection of produce and flowers is normally in the middle of the week and that’s the time I always tend to need a full grocery run. This past week, I may have gone overboard on purchasing flowers but it was worth it because I was super excited with how the arrangements turned out!

I picked up a bouquet of red and pink tulips, delphinium stocks, red and pink ranunculus, and pink aneonenes (does anyone else have trouble saying aneonenes out loud haha!) I actually did these arrangements myself by purchasing floral foam from my local garden nursery across the street. However, you can find foam on Amazon Prime pretty easily too!

West Elm gold candlesticks and red votives from Ralph Lauren.

I topped each plate with a felt heart from Sur La Table’s table scatter decor.

Straw placemats and white napkins from Pottery Barn.

love that look:
